Meet Angel Flores. Angel is a Grace Place volunteer and a student in our high school program, AP Leadership. Angel is 15 years old and already has over 600 volunteer hours, well past his required hours for school! Angel has been volunteering at Grace Place for 2 years, both in the Friday Food Pantry and in the Academy of Leaders after-school program with K-8th grade students.

In addition to volunteering at Grace Place Angel is also interning this summer for C’mon Children’s Museum, an internship suggested to him by our AP Leadership Program Assistant, Monica Chavez. Identifying appropriate internships and scholarships is one benefit the students in AP Leadership receive!
