We are pleased to announce Trisha Hare, Vice President, Key Private Bank, as our new Chair of the Board of Directors. Hare was appointed to the position, which carries a two-year term, on October 28, 2013, during the Annual Meeting of the Board. She previously served a two-year term as Treasurer on the Grace Place Board and will replace now Past Chair, Phillip Plessinger.
“I am honored to accept this position, I believe in Grace Place’s mission. I’ve always had a passion for education and it’s important to me to make sure every child has access to an education and the tools to achieve their dreams,” said Hare. “I am committed, with Grace Place, to make sure these families that are striving to improve their lives have access to resources that can help. I want to be a part of leaving behind a community that is thriving and better than it was a generation before.”
“We are pleased that Trisha will be leading Grace Place into our second decade of growth and service to the community. She has already shown a great commitment to our mission in her previous Board service and she will bring strong financial skills, leadership abilities and community relationship experience. Under Trisha’s leadership, and working together with our Board and committee leadership, we will continue to expand our campus and enable children and families to obtain literacy, language and life skills,” commented Grace Place Executive Director, Stephanie Munz Campbell.
