This week takes our Academy of Leaders Summer Program to The Von Liebig Art Center for week long collaboration with Naples Art Association. Students are enjoying painting, pottery and craft classes instructed by some of the community’s finest art educators!

THE BENEFITS: The arts have the power to influence and mold a child’s development on many levels — academically, socially and emotionally. Involvement in the arts offers students the opportunity to express themselves by tapping into their inventiveness and creativity. It is also a fun outlet that helps positively stimulate and motivate students. Evaluation after evaluation demonstrates the benefits that are transferred to children who participate in the arts, such as academic gains, improved cognitive skills, positive behaviors, increased engagement and creativity.
