One Conversation Can Change a Student’s Future
For many young professionals, there comes a point when career success feels like it should mean more than the next promotion, project, or paycheck. We want to use our experiences to help others, build meaningful connections, and make an impact in our community. At Grace Place, one simple conversation can do exactly that.
On September 24, 2026, Grace Place Ambassadors will host a speed-networking event that brings together local young professionals and high school students for an evening of connection, encouragement, and career exploration.
Students will rotate through short conversations with professionals from a variety of industries, asking questions about careers, college pathways, workplace experiences, and life after high school. These conversations can open doors to opportunities students may never have considered while giving professionals a chance to share lessons learned and encourage the next generation.
Ready to make a difference in just one hour? Join us on Thursday, September 24, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Grace Place Campus for this engaging speed-networking event and help inspire local students as they explore their future career paths. To register or learn more, contact Avery Williams at 239.255.7238 or Avery.Williams@graceplacenaples.org.
Why Your Story Matters
You do not need to be a CEO, business owner, or industry expert to make a difference. Students simply want to hear honest stories about career choices, challenges, lessons learned, and advice for the future. A brief conversation can build confidence, spark a new career interest, or help a student feel more prepared for what comes next. In just one hour, you can provide inspiration that lasts far longer.
More Than Networking
This event is hosted by the Grace Place Ambassadors, a network of young professionals dedicated to making a positive impact on children and families in our community. Through volunteerism, advocacy, philanthropy, and community engagement, Ambassadors help raise awareness of Grace Place and support students and families as they pursue pathways out of poverty.
