Grace Place Fall 2020 Program Plans
Bright Beginnings Parent Time Classes
- B101 – 2 Classes – once a week, Wednesday and Thursday
- B102 – 2 Classes – twice a week, Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday/Thursday
- B301 – 2 Classes – twice a week, Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday/Thursday
- B201 – 2 Classes – twice a week in person and twice a week virtual, Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday/Thursday
Bright Beginnings Early Child Education Classes 4 full-time and 3 Part-time classes
- Full-time 4-year-olds – 2 Classes – five days a week
- Full-time 3-year-olds – 1 Class – four days a week, Monday – Thursday
- Full-time 2/3-year-olds – 1 Class – four days a week, Monday – Thursday
- Part-time 3-year-olds – 1 Class – one or two days a week, Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday/Thursday
- Part-time 2-year-olds – 1 Class – one or two days a week, Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday/Thursday
- Part-time 1-year-olds – 1 Class – one or two days a week, Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday/Thursday
Bright Beginnings Virtual Program Fridays
- 1and 2-year olds 9:30 – 10:15 Parent and Child Virtual Program
- 3 and 4-year olds 10:30– 11:15 Parent and Child Virtual Program
Adult Education
- Year Round classes resume September 12th
- 3 Options Available for Students and Teachers
- Option 1: Students and Teacher on Campus
- Option 2: Hybrid – Students receive class at Grace Place and Volunteer Teachers Stay Home
- Option 3: Virtual Classes – Neither teacher nor student are on physical campus
- New fall classes resume in October, date TBD
Elementary Program
- Waiting for 21st Century Approval
- We are planning an in person program at Grace Place and a virtual program
Middle School Program
- We have a 21st Century Grant to grow the program to 280 students
- We will have an in person program at GGMS and a virtual program
- We are planning to begin with 6 groups of 12 students, 1 teacher, and 1 LPA and hope to expand to 14 groups of 20 depending on the effects of Covid 19
- For our virtual program:
- We will meet with each student once a week to complete a Check-In on their virtual school progress and challenges
- We will use teacher and volunteers to help tutor students virtually as needed
- Each student will participate in two virtual enrichment classes each week
High School LEAD Program
- We have a 21st Century Grant to serve 80 student
- We will have an in person program at GGHS and a virtual program
- We are planning to begin with 3 groups of 12 students, 1 teacher, and 1 LPA and hope to expand to 4 groups of 20 depending on the effects of Covid 19
