Young Leaders, Big Impact: Meet the Grace Place Board of Ambassadors

At Grace Place, we’re fortunate to have a passionate group of young professionals dedicated to advancing our mission through advocacy, volunteerism, and philanthropy. Our Board of Ambassadors is made up of emerging leaders who are using their time, talents, and networks to create meaningful change in our community.

Currently 18 members strong, the Ambassadors are led by Chair Dallas Clarke and Vice Chair Emily Shafer, and meet virtually each month to plan ways to support Grace Place’s mission. This spring, we were thrilled to welcome four new Ambassadors—Enrique Medellin, Kaleb Gerard, Anneke Geldenhuys, and Tina Cirakovic—to the team.

Throughout the year, the Ambassadors host two signature events: Beers & Books, a fun event at a local brewery gathering book donations, and Dodge for a Cause, a high-energy adult dodgeball tournament that brings the community together for a good cause. The most recent Dodge for a Cause, held this past June, raised $6,000 to support Grace Place programs!

Ambassadors come from a wide range of industries but share a common goal: giving back to the community in a way that’s purposeful, collaborative, and impactful. Their efforts help raise awareness of our work and expand our reach to new audiences.
