Planned Giving

Join the Literacy Society!

The Literacy Society is a special network recognizing supporters who include Grace Place in a will or estate plan, or who establish a gift with Grace Place that provides income for life. For 20 years, Grace Place has worked to provide pathways out of poverty by educating children and families through the vital support of the Literacy Society, and other individuals who have made special commitments to Grace Place. Everything we have accomplished we have accomplished with you, our donors.

We hope you will consider joining the Literacy Society and help continue Grace Place’s work changing lives through education. Through your estate plan, you can pass on your cherished values and share the gift of education with generations to come.

Become a member of the Literacy Society by doing any of the following:

  • Name Grace Place as a beneficiary in your will or trust
  • Name Grace Place as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or life insurance policy
  • Make a gift to Grace Place that provides you, or someone you name, with income for life
  • Make a gift to Grace Place through a charitable gift annuity or charitable remainder trust

Estate Planning

Estate gifts are an excellent way to support Grace Place and ensure our mission continues to thrive for future generations. Bequests offer a simple yet impactful method by designating Grace Place as the beneficiary of your retirement assets, such as an IRA, 401(k), 403(b), and more.

An estate gift of any size provides a straightforward way for supporters of Grace Place to achieve their charitable goals. These gifts create lasting impacts for our students, extending beyond the donor’s lifetime.

Estate gifts to Grace Place can be easily arranged through your Will or Living Trust. They can take various forms, such as a specific dollar amount, securities, real estate, or a percentage or residue of your estate. Another way to make an estate gift is by designating Grace Place as a beneficiary of a retirement account or life insurance policy.

Charitable Remainder Trusts

By establishing a charitable remainder trust with Grace Place, you not only create a lasting gift for the organization but also receive regular payments throughout your lifetime or for a fixed term of up to 20 years. This planned giving strategy allows you to make a significant impact on future generations of Grace Place students while also meeting your own income needs.
