There was an abundance of Christmas spirit at Grace Place this December as programs celebrated the season with special parties and events.
Mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers came together at the Bright Beginnings Christmas Festival to celebrate with educational Christmas themed activities. Even Santa himself made an appearance.
The mom’s in our Bright Beginnings program impressed a crowd of staff, volunteers and their children with a special Christmas presentation. With the support of their volunteer teachers, the mom’s wrote the entire program themselves and practiced for weeks. The presentations included reading stories aloud, sharing Christmas traditions and singing carols entirely in English.
Our high school AP Leadership students enjoyed a Christmas Extravaganza of their own design, including a Reindeer Obstacle Course and talent show. It wasn’t all fun and games though, special guests (AP Leadership Alumni) came for a panel on “College Life.”
