Honorary and Memorial Gifts

At Grace Place, we deeply value the opportunity to celebrate the lives of loved ones and commemorate special occasions through charitable giving. Making an honorary or memorial gift is a meaningful way to honor someone special while supporting our mission to empower individuals and families in our community.

General Information

Any gift amount in memory or in honor can be made to Grace Place. When giving online, there is a section to indicate this, and the option to have Grace Place notify them.

For more information on making an honorary or memorial gift, please contact Kim Buehler at 239-255-7219 or kim@graceplacenaples.org.

Designations

Personalized gift funds are created to make contributions in honor or in memory of someone special to you. You can create a fund in their memory, or contribute to one that’s already been set up. To create an endowed fund, the gift minimum is $100,000. This gift can be directed to different areas across campus.

Donor will direct the gift by choosing an allocation:

A memorial gift is a meaningful way to remember someone and have a lasting impact on Grace Place. When making your memorial gift, please specify for whom and for what you are making your gift, and your gift will be directed to the appropriate gift fund.

Donor will make a general gift with no allocation:

Should you wish to provide a memorial gift without a specific allocation, Grace Place will direct your gift in a manner that celebrates the memory of the loved one who has passed after consultation with the individual’s family.

Communication

Bi-monthly updates will be sent to the family and will include the names of donors who made a memorial gift. After 90 days, we will send the family a comprehensive letter. If funds have not been designated, we will consult with the family to allocate funds. Should the family have additional needs, please contact Kim Buehler at 239-255-7219 or kim@graceplacenaples.org.
